Ganguro vs CrispyChris/Koji on OCFTW, hosted by TXL's Jonda!

Last week on OCFTW, a local Street Fighter stream run by Joe Bakashi and Jason, Ganguro and I were privileged enough to be invited on to the show.

Ganguro played "First to 5s/10s (FT5/FT10)" with two relatively new players to the game, Koji and CrispyChris, looking to test their mantle against a seasoned player and champion of various Street Fighter competitions locally. And I? Well, I was basically there to sell Team Xialan like the true slut that I am... On commentary duties and hosting.

Ganguro came out tops in the series of concept matches, edging pass Chris's Makoto, 10 games to 8, then proceeding to deliver Koji a crushing 10-0 defeat, playing 5 games with Ryu and 5 games with Sagat.

Koji and Chris displayed much promise throughout their sets, showing glimpses of their potential at flashing moments and introducing some new mix-ups and setups even someone like myself, who has sat through many, many tournaments watching virtually everyone from the scene play, has never seen before.

Once again, a big thank you to Joe Bakashi and Jason for granting me free reign over the entire show, I had lots of fun. Shoutouts to Koji and Chris being good sports on the mic and even Chris having a go at commentary with me! And last of all to Ganguro for extending the invitation out to me.

Until then!

Vise Vords from the Vice Capt. - Twelve Tables

This year, January was a 2 month long affair. I received some of the most awesome gifts ever. My brother bought me a mini Marshall amp, the GLT got me Sennheiser earphones (and a t-shirt from Rodney as well!), Ganguro gave me his Evangelion Sega Prizes which he caught in Japan almost a year ago, The Crabs ordered a Tokidoki hat that's insanely xialan (refer to above picture) and last but not least, I psycho-ed Eme to get me the Aisaka Taiga Nendoroid!

Thank you all for the gifts and wishes, it is my honour to occupy a tiny space in your mind, even for a brief moment.

With ♥,
Vice Capt.

First Appearance on OCFTW!

(In case the embed doesn't load, please go directly to the twitch.tv URL to watch the replay!)

Now recently, Joe Bakashi, together with Jason Rubed0, have been running a Street Fighter stream, called OCFTW, which stands for One Character For The Win, to showcase all the glorious talent that Singapore has to offer in this game. The show also does very well to showcase rare matchups and lesser known players.

So Rchan and M_Flo, together with SBK, were scheduled to play on stream that day, when I unexpectedly crashed the show but nevertheless, Joe was nice enough to fit me in, even setting up an extra microphone so I may do some commentary. (Which I have not done for quite awhile, so I apologise for the lack of quality in that department.)

It's about 2 hours long, this run, maybe because we talk a little too much, but still, a very good show indeed, with Rchan showing off alot of high level Cody tech. Aspiring Cody players, this is definitely a video you should be watching!

Again, shoutouts to Joe and Jason for having us over, we had a good time, and I most definitely look forward to being back on the show at a later date.

And rest assured, I will shameless whore Team Xialan all over the stream, from start to end next time!

With my sudden intrusion into the show, it accidentally became a mini Project RAMPAGE reunion, missing the other members of the team like Ganguro, Spore, Sharkface, Matte, Vx and Jennifer. Between the four of us however, we've been in numerous teams together since Vanilla, like Team Rage, Hana Yori Daigo and Alpha Dogs just to name a few.

Jude Lau and the Memory Bank

Jude Lau stays and works, like the average salary man, in a mundane job as an Officer in the library. One day, he looks for an important document he had seemingly misplaced, only to find it, by slowly retracing his steps, from small details his subconscious had remembered, to it’s place of last seen, a friend’s bag. True enough, was where it laid, three years before and now.

Intrigued by the bottomless potential and intricate workings of his brain, (Which he was certain was dead, for a very long time.) Jude comes to a conclusion, that if he only puts his mind to it, and think backwards, he’ll be able to regain the one thing he’d lost, almost 5 years ago, that was most important to him… The love of his life.
